Mathilde Cornillat

Native from Rouen in Normandy, Mathilde has developed her artistic curiosity at the High School “Jeanne d’Arc” in Rouen where she chose to follow the music option until she graduated. She also has an interest in dance, since she has started classical dance early and then modern’ jazz. At the university, she also attended contemporary dance classes at SUAPS ( University Department of Physical and Sports Activities ).

Then, she chose to study LEA (Applied Foreign Languages) English / Spanish with the Russian option. Also interesed in Nordic languages, she opted for a University Diploma in Swedish at the University of Caen in Lower Normandy, which she studied in parallel with her LEA degree, also at the University of Caen.

Thanks to her degree, Mathilde went to Córdoba in Spain, under the Erasmus program. Which allowed her to discover a new culture and to improve her language skills. Moreover, she carried out two internships in Spain, one of which was in the international relations office at the University of Salamanca, also under the Erasmus program.

In December 2017, she began a 8-month civic service mission in the 6th Dimension company, where she uses her language skills and computer skills to help with the communication and broadcast. Her ease in the artistic environment allows her to meet the public, during the different events of the company (workshops, shows, professional meetings…) and participates in performances to better communicate about the various activities and the artistic approach of the company.
